View Full Version : Recommend your umbrella for the car (NOT stroller)

I'd love to have a nice umbrella for the car. Full size. In the trunk. All have at home are cheap "automatic" ones. Suggestions? Thinking s golf type maybe ?

I got a decent on at Costco Golf size one and a personal size one. It rains here all the time in the summer I tend to lose mine before they wear out

We both have nice ShedRain (www.shedrain.com) umbrellas in our cars. Love the quality, but they are more classic umbrellas, rather than golf style. I also have a full size umbrella from Ikea in my car. The quality isn't on the same level as the ShedRain's, but it's a really fun bright pattern and has held up fine over 2-3 years.

Hahaha, I had no idea what you were talking about! I was thinking an outdoor umbrella for soccer or something! It NEVER rains here so "rain umbrella" never even crossed my mind lol! Definitely a southern CA girl!

The 2 pack golf and regular sizes from Costco is awesome. 3 kids and I can walk under the golf comfortably, so I keep that one in my car. Well, I guess the other is usually in my car also since we end up with extra passengers often enough. It fits adult and 2 kids or 2 ppl with backpacks .

I have a 10+ yr. old automatic one from Totes or ShedRain that works just fine, but the tag has long since been taken off or worn off. We sadly don't use it much.
