Ideas, especially for necklaces, would be so helpful!

I had what was essentially a wall mounted tie rack (DH made and also held belts) in our closet for necklaces, but had this installed (http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Wooden-Over-the-Door-Wall-mount-Jewelry-Armoire-Cabinet-with-Mirror-Storage-Wallmount-Case/9320785/product.html?recset=14bf5956-7a6f-4bb9-9100-43b2d3b66660&refccid=H2M6FNMGCIYISLSJ7G2SBVFU5I&searchidx=2&recalg=63&recidx=2) when we used Elfa to reorganize our closet. Someone here recommended a similar one. Both work well for necklaces.

I have an Elfa hanger and hang them all.

In the last house I used shaped cork boards and cool pins to hang necklaces and I had a drawer for earrings and bracelets. A locked drawer for the nicer stuff.

This one, I have 2 locked drawers and had a pegboard framed to hang necklaces. But it was just finished yesterday and I haven't actually tried it yet :)

An old converted medicine cabinet for most - the mirror is great. And a couple of repurposed vintage oval frames, one for pins, one for dangly earrings - the latter are hung on map pins stuck into cork behind the fabric I have in the frame.

I have one of these https://www.amazon.com/Household-Essentials-Bracelet-Necklace-Organizer/dp/B002E3KYWA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1472586063&sr=8-2&keywords=hanging+necklace+organizer
And one with bickers for earrings. Love them.

I made one of these for my necklaces, ikea spice rack hack (http://www.homedit.com/ikea-spice-racks/practical-and-simple-way-to-organize-jewelry/) and I love it. I didn't paint mine just attached it to the wall. The only bummer was that it didn't come with screws to attach to the wall so we ended up having to buy this screw set from Ikea (http://m.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/art/00169249/).

I keep my rings and post earrings that I wear on a regular basis in this small box (things remembered ring box) on my side table, my larger hoop earrings I keep in my larger jewelry box.

We have a section of closet that we don't use that has a bar in it, so I hang my necklaces on there like they are hangers. No twisting, no tangles, and I can see everything wonderfully at eye level. May not work for everyone, but it worked wonderfully for me!

For my costume necklaces and jewelry, I have an older version of this mounted in my closet: http://www.hayneedle.com/product/belhamlivinghollywoodmirroredwallhangingjewelryarm oire.cfm?redirect=false&kwid=JewelryArmoires_EWB599&tid=EWB599-1&adtype=pla&kw=&gclid=Cj0KEQjwgJq-BRCFqcLW8_DU9agBEiQAz8Koh37zSlFEDgYTIMWPA1ZsulvJ9C l4bliai69EQK5XtpEaAlml8P8HAQ The inside of mine looks exactly the same and it works really well for hanging my necklaces and bracelets.

For more valuable jewelry, I have a jewelry box on my dresser that I can pick up and hide in a safe when we are gone traveling.

I also have 2 narrow drawers in my dresser that I've put little organizer trays in for sorting earrings, bracelets, scarf rings, dh's cuff links, etc.

I have hooks that I screwed into the wall above my dresser for necklaces. I have about 5 of them, and each hook hold about 5-8 necklaces.

For earrings, I LOVE this idea I got from Pioneer Woman:

http://thepioneerwoman.com/life-and-style/french-fry-basket-jewelry-organizer/

I ordered one from amazon, and it hold all of my non-stud earrings. Stud earrings go on a jewelry tree with holes.

My boys made this yarn tree from a kit on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Craft-tastic-CT1502-Yarn-Tree-Kit/dp/B013TRSB6U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1475420586&sr=8-1&keywords=yarn+tree

You can see pics of their finished product in my review here: https://www.amazon.com/review/R1UZIVYYUGRHS1/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B013TRSB6U
