Does anyone have recommendations for comfortable tights?
No matter what size I buy (just bought Hue tights in 2 sizes bigger than I wear) the waist still looks to be about 12 inches around. Any recommendations?
TIA!

What do you wear then with? I try to avoid tights. :)
My office is warm. With a coat, gloves and boots, I can usually stay warm enough for the quick walk to my car.

Thanks for replying. I wear them with dresses and skirts when I am wearing flats, heels or booties.

I wear tights every day in the late fall thru early spring. Ann Taylor Modern Perfexr control top tights are my go to, but I'm going to splurge on a pair of Wolford this year...

Thanks for the recommendations. I just ordered some Commando tights from Amazon, but will check out Ann Taylor and Wolford as well.

J Crew Factory. Going to try the AT rec. It's been a few years since I got them.

Wolford's are awesome but super super expensive. They are a hand wash item IMO. I've worn the target ones on occasion and like them. I really am ok with any -- L'eggs from the drugstore work fine for me. That said I usually wear leggings and boots if I can at all. Way more comfortable (love Hue wide band leggings).

I'm back to update. I purchased a pair of opaque Commando brand tights on Amazon and I am in love. They are regular tights, but without that annoying binding waist band. $36, so not cheap, but worth it to be comfortable in my book:)

I also tried Commando tights (wearing today!). I love them. I think they are equally comfortable to leggings. They are really soft in the stomach and legs!

Yes! I'm so glad you like them as well. Seeing your post is a good reminder that I need to order more:)
