Nothing like doing things at the last minute...

We're hosting a costumes-optional party for DD's birthday this weekend and DH is going as Elvis. Can anyone suggest a costume idea for me that semi-complements Elvis?

One of you can be young, hot Elvis, the other white-jumpsuit Elvis.

Maybe pick one of the Elvis movies (especially a movie that has the look of Elvis costume) and dress like someone from the movie? Is the costume the early Elvis or the white jumpsuit Elvis?

I did a quick google search and there were a few - jailhouse rock/woman prisoner (striped black/white dress), poodle skirt, Marilyn Monroe

I think this would be good with White Jumpsuit Elvis. Or a mini-skirt and go-go boots look.

Peanut butter and banana sandwich? My first thought was Priscilla too, she had a really distinctive hairstyle, heavy eyeliner.

Or you could do Jailhouse Elvis with a black motorcycle jacket, striped shirt and slicked back hair. Coupled with Vegas Elvis with the white jumpsuit, sideburns and sunglasses. I was Elvis one year, it is a really fun costume!

Haha. Bacon was my first thought. But I never would have guessed it exists as a mass produced costume. Ha!
