I want to do brussels sprouts for a side dish for Thanksgiving. Anyone have a recipe they love?

Thanks

I just like them roasted with salt and pepper in some bacon drippings. :)

I love all Brussels sprouts, but my absolute favorite is the shredded Brussels sprouts recipe I got from someone here on BBB. You cook the shredded Brussels in olive oil with chopped shallots and chopped pancetta (all from Trader Joe's!). Add salt & pepper. You can finish it with a splash of balsamic but I prefer without, so the wonderful flavors come through. Even my non-Brussels-liking boys will happily eat this.

How do you shred the Brussels sprouts .. in food processor?

Trader Joe's has them pre-shredded! But a food processor would probably work too.

I have a bacon and Brussels sprout salad that we like but I don't think it goes with our Thanksgiving. It is good though! I use the pre shredded ones at TJs too. http://pinchofyum.com/bacon-and-brussel-sprout-salad

I like this recipe. I never use the onion, mostly because I forget to get one when I'm doing Brussels sprouts.

I was just coming here to post this recipe! My friend has made it minus the anchovies, capers, and bread and it was still amazing. I'm going to try this Thanksgiving.

Wished you lived in the land of Wegmans. I toss them in Wegmans basting oil and roast. So so so good.

No wegmans. That oil sounds good though

Never tried bacon, that sounds yummy!

I use this Ina Garten recipe for roasting and it always comes out great: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/roasted-brussels-sprouts-recipe2.html

I also like shredded, haven't made that in a while.
