Unless you are sitting on the ice, most arena's are comfortable, like long sleeve tops, or sweater, it's not cold like a local hockey rink.

And most of the kids when we went were dressed as characters (as princesses and the like).

I am usually cold in any arena, ice show or not. I haven't found the ice shows to be any colder unless you are right on the ice.

Brought coats and never needed them. I was hot! I was also very pregnant, but my kids were plenty warm, too.

Tons of kids dress up. Mine did.

And they sell tons of disney stuff at disney prices. Just fyi. Had I known that I would have bought some fun disney surprises for my kids at walmart or somewhere cheaper so they wouldn't be begging to have everything there.

We brought light layers, like cozy hoodies, but they were worn briefly.

Be prepared for the most expensive concessions you have ever encountered. Thankfully a friend warned us so I wasn't horribly shocked.
