Ebay/Pay Pal Question

I sold an item on Ebay yesterday. The buyer used the Buy It Now option, and made a Pay Pal payment yesterday midmorning. When I log onto PayPal, it shows the payment as being received, but the funds are on hold. I have never encountered this before. Do I ship my item, or wait until the funds are no longer on hold?

That policy started a few years ago. Funds go on hold for 21 days, or something like that. I pretty much stopped selling on ebay after that. ETA: The funds will absolutely not release unless there is proof of delivery, too. So you'll need to ship.

Yes, ebay is royal PITA. If you are a power seller the funds release quicker. Make sure you have tracking, have good picks of the item before you send it. If it's something like a purse, put a "sellers" mark/ziptie that says if removed it can't be returned, protects your from the switcheroo.
