acidity in kids?

my 8 yo dd has been telling me from 3-4 days that she feels acidic in her tummy. she can hear bubbles pop pop, does not hurt a lot, probably a little which she can ignore. bowel movements all fine. She does not drink lots of water which we are encouraging her to drink. she says everything tastes acidic? should i call the ped? or take her in? she is doing all things fine.

I would give her some antacids (like Tums) after dinner or when she complains of the discomfort and see if she is better in a couple of days.

Does she have allergies or a cold? Could she have sinus drainage?
