I'm hosting a brownie journey next sat. I've got 9 cadettes/seniors helping and 5 adults from my troop. Our planning meeting got cancelled due to weather so we are meeting at 8 am the day of. I've said I'm providing breakfast. So far I have 3 doz muffins (I made them yesterday and froze them) and a bottle of apple juice. I'm planning on coffee and stuff to go in it and maybe OJ. Do I need to provide a protein too? I'm paleo so I won't be able to eat any of this but I think if I were invited to something like this I would assume that I would bring my own.. If I do provide a protein I was thinking hard boiled eggs but DH thinks it sounds strange.

FWIW there will be snack at 10:30 which will be pizza rolls (Italy), tangerines/bananas (Africa) and either baguette or madelines-depends on the budget! (France)

TIA!

Bagels and cream cheese, fruit (maybe a fruit salad?) and some orange juice

I would add fruit.

And yogurt if you want something extra--it's got protein, is easy, and can be eaten with or without the fruit.

Egg muffins. Many paleo recipes for them out there and we all love them in our house. I usually do bacon with veggies (spinach, peppers, and mushrooms). Or leave out the meat and it's good for paleo and vegetarians too! Easy and and can be made ahead.

I'd get some yogurt and fruit, too. The yogurt will give some protein.

Strawberries and grapes would be great.

thanks everyone! I'll add yogurt and fruit. I'm trying to avoid having to bake anything the day of. It's already going to be manic and I've got a very busy week this week before I even get to sat. I made the muffins this weekend and froze them so that's done.
