Disneyland - Season Pass first entry question

So I purchased our season passes online and received the email confirmation/claim info.

Can we just go straight to the turnstiles with the email printout? Or do we need to go to the actual ticket booth/kiosk with the email printout? I know they use the email printout and dispense the actual passes upon arrival. Just wondering if we can bypass the ticket kiosk and go straight to the turnstile with the email printout.

You can go to the turnstiles for your first visit, but eventually you do have to go to a ticket window to get the actual pass.
