Need a light, fun, not-too-much-thinking-to-follow-the-story book to keep me busy after surgery. Recommendations?

From the last thread, The Royal We was enjoyable. I also read a Jenny Colgan book based on suggestions in the last thread. Very easy read (Meet me at the Cupcake Cafe). Not my favorite book but it did its job of giving me some fluffy, easy entertainment. I'm always a Mary Kay Andrews fan (Deep Dish is especially fun). Susan Elizabeth Phillips specializes in not deep books. :).

Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella

Heather Wells mysteries (first one is Size 12 is Not Fat) by Meg Cabot

Stephanie Plum series (first one is One for the Money) by Janet Evanovich

I was just going to say the Heather Wells one again too. Best part is that if you like it, there are more in the series. I love a good series.
