Crazy hair idea for boys?

What do your short-haired boys do for crazy hair day?? We literally just cut DS's hair this morning and then I find out that crazy hair day is on Friday. What can I do that doesn't involve hair paint? I would really prefer not to get too messy.
I saw a cute idea on pinterest where someone glued a bunch of googly eyes onto a hair net... Where sells hair nets though? And would they really fit a 5 yr old?

If you want to invest that much, perhaps a crazy wig from Party City? they have the one-color ones year round I think.

eta: hair net maybe at dollar store or in the hair care aisles of drugstores? I haven't looked.

No. It was until we cut it this morning. Ha! Last time they did crazy hair/crazy hat day--that was easier!

Hair chalk washes out really easily. They also make colored hair gel now that washes out. Glitter gel? Silly headband?

I've never met a 5 year old that would leave a hair net on all day. :)

(Or honestly, just skip it? Would he care?)

We did hair chalk, I drew polka dots all over ds1's head.

Spray hair color.
It dries and it's no mess then, we drape with an old towel and spray outside.

We have done both of these, and they wash out with one normal wash. The spray stinks, so definitely do it outside and don't get it on clothing (as pp mentioned above).
