OK, so we just bought some of those recently--but what do people do with them? I think they are SO weird feeling when they are all full of water. Do you let them get big and then keep them in water for a while or let them shrink back down as soon as kids are done playing? I have a handful sitting in water but I feel like they might start growing stuff if I just leave them there.

My kids play with them for a day or two and then we drain and toss them. I've tried drying them out fully to reuse and it would probably work to spread them out in a cookie sheet but if you leave them to dry piled in the drained bowl and forget about them for a couple days you will grow things. Don't ask me how I know :-p
