Back pain only on right side at night?

i am having some back pain from my hip to almost my upper back only on right side and that too only at night. Daytime seems ok. I tried different sides of bed same pain. Its from about a week or so? anyone experience this? what can i do?

I'd try a body pillow for sleeping and Google some gentle stretches to do

Could it be your gallbladder? My doctor told me that pain from a "sick" gallbladder can radiate up into your shoulder. Typically the pain is on your right side

Gallbladder is a possibility as well as a problem with one of your intervertebral discs, which could radiate up or down or both and be positional.

Gallbladder, kidney or ovary pain, all presents that way. Weird that it's only at night, though.
I get a dull ache there when I am having ovulation or have a fibroid. They usually diagnosis it as kidney, and then I remember, oh yeah, damn ovary.
