I've been looking at lunch ideas online, and see that a lot of people use silicone cupcake liners for smaller things. We use Easy Lunch Boxes, and I think it would be great for us to use them for things like cheese cubes, chickpeas, edamame, etc.

I bought some online, but they don't work so well in the ELB's. They aren't tall enough to reach the lid, so when they get jostled around in DD's backpacks, the stuff in the liners gets out through the gap, and rolls around.

I know a lot of you use ELB's as well. If you use cupcake liners, can you please share a link of which specific ones you use? Does stuff escape?

I don't use the ELBs, but in my containers the silicone cupcake liners are also too short. I just stack a bunch of them until they're tall enough.

I sometimes just put a cracker (a round one) on top of the cupcake liner and it helps hold things in place.

I have red and pink heart shaped ones by Wilton, got them at Bed, Bath, & Beyond. I use them to hold pepperoni, cheese cubes, grapes, grape tomatoes, cucumber slices, etc. They do not quite reach the lid, but the girls have never complained of things leaking out of them before (and the lunchboxes sit on their sides when in their lunch bags in their backpacks).

Yes. Here is what it looks like in the ELB: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170824/061a82481fc4f310472305a8f4855f13.jpg

There is space between the top and lid so it bounces around if that section is empty, but I usually fit in a granola bar, 1/2 sand which, etc. beside it to kinda help hold it in the corner.

If you're interested in changing lunch containers- I use silicone cupcake liners a lot in my lunch bots and they fit perfectly.
