View Full Version : Make ahead savory appetizer for a crowd

Can anyone share ideas for a vegetarian appetizer/side that I can make 2 days in advance for a crowd? I checked Pinterest and there are a bunch of great ideas with puff pastry that I'm interested in, but I don't know if I can then store them for 2 days. (ex. with spinach & ricotta or mushroom & onion) I won't be at my own house the morning of the event, so don't want to make a big production in the kitchen baking multiple batches of trays. Thanks!

I only use a tablespoon of sugar and regular corn so it's not sweet.

I would do hummus with pita chips and cut bell peppers, carrots and cucumbers.

OP here. Thanks for the great ideas! We already love and make cowboy caviar a lot, so it might be nice to stick with something I know.
