I've got three things to share.

First, this little device comes in handy at my house:

http://www.lakeshorelearning.com/product/productDet.jsp?productItemID=1%2C689%2C949%2C371%2 C930%2C515&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474395181113&bmUID=1504644775191

It is a toy and my kids love catching and releasing bugs. But it is also AWESOME at getting rid of spiders in undesirable spots, like big bins of legos! We use ours all the time.

Second, at one point I was looking for a beautiful robe to recover in PP. I found this great spot that has beautiful, well made robes and I have this one:

http://www.plumprettysugar.com/lounge/robes-cotton-voile/ankle-length/kimono-style-robe-ankle-length-beckoning-creatures

(but mine was in a different fabric). I LOVE this robe!

Finally, if your child or anyone you love is suffering from ADHD, I love the podcasts (which are spunoff from the free webinars) that are offered from ADDitude Magazine. They are super informative and I love that if I have a question I can hear a presentation from an expert about it.

Two that I think are really important are episode 186 (the newest one is awesome!), and episode 149 about medication. Those of you looking into Executive Function, episodes 139 and 136 deal specifically with that and could be helpful.

What have you found that you love?

How funny, I was just thinking about a Favorite Things thread this weekend! And I'm glad to see your recommendation for the robe- I need a new one and that is so pretty! I do have a birthday coming up!

I'll add this sunscreen powder. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00K1LQXWC/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1504646795&sr=8-2&keywords=sunscreen+powder+brush
I read about it on a blog and have LOVED this all summer. I'm a redhead and have to keep sunscreened, but I don't like adding more sunscreen to my face throughout the day. This stuff is awesome!

Oooh fun!

I really like this sheet. I keep it my car and we use it all the time for impromptu picnics or in our back yard for reading. I think I'm giving them as Christmas gifts to my siblings this year.

I love these threads!

These crocs are a new favorite based on a rec here. Really comfy and great for splash pads and activities where there could be mud. http://www.crocs.com/p/womens-crocs-isabella-t-strap-sandal/202467.html?cgid=women-footwear-sandals&cid=62E#start=28

I'm also loving Everything But the Bagel seasoning blend from Trader Joes.

Oh awesome! I'm the one who recommended those Crocs! [emoji2] I love them too! I just wore them to the home opener football game for my alma mater where it was 100 degrees- my feet got filthy from tailgating in the grassy dirt, sunscreen and sweat, but I was comfortable and they looked cute and I just washed them off at home and they still look like new.

That seasoning blend is awesome and I'd use it on everything if I could, but I'm the only one here who enjoys it, so I don't buy it. *sigh*

Crocs Capri V flip flops (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B010121D8Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1504711973&sr=8-4&pi=AC_UL420_SR280%2C420_QL65&keywords=crocs%2Bcapri%2Bv&th=1&psc=1). I love that they finally have a style that doesn't look so unisex and comes in black/silver. I wish they were more of a wedge, but otherwise they are pretty darn perfect for a flip flop. Tempted to order them in the navy/ocean (https://www.nordstromrack.com/shop/product/2154679?color=NAVY-OCN) from Nordstrom Rack for $21 as well. I am tempted by the Isabella Crocs as well, but am not sure how they will look on my super wide feet.

My sister got me this Dogeared pearl necklace (http://www.dogeared.com/pearls-of…-medium-keshi-pearl-necklace%2C-gold-dipped/844923056771.html#start=1) for my birthday and I love it.

Milani eye primer (https://www.target.com/p/milani-eyeshadow-primer/-/A-26398383?sid=230S&ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=PLA_Health+Beauty+Shopping_Local&adgroup=SC_Health+Beauty&LID=700000001170770pgs&network=g&device=m&location=9031076&gclid=Cj0KCQjwub7NBRDJARIsAP7wlT9CMSHwGlUmJ71OzcWD IkragTy7lhORZbMOpoUVz35rBwRZ7wLK4j0aAnTxEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds). Very similar to Urban Decay's potion primer, but this still comes in a squeeze tube and the Urban Decay now only has a wand and I don't like it.

NYX Ultimate Smokey eyes palette (http://www.ulta.com/smokey-highlight-ultimate-shadow-palette?productId=xlsImpprod13901015&sku=2301915&cmpid=PS_Non!google!Product_Listing_Ads&cagpspn=pla&CATCI=aud-294373712102:pla-304556056956&CAAGID=41243851805&CAWELAID=330000200000514160&catargetid=330000200001224344&cadevice=m&gclid=Cj0KCQjwub7NBRDJARIsAP7wlT_h3RyK5VgfE_G3C5bA Yp5R8zk0kglWzyuZFyUp1_srpCU9qm0iEYMaAp2IEALw_wcB).

I love the robe that Bisous posted and I am in the market for one as well.

ETA:

Yurbuds earbuds (https://m.dickssportinggoods.com/p/yurbuds-inspire-200-earphones-16yurunspr200xxxxtch/16yurunspr200xxxxtch?camp=CSE:DSG_pg33029_ecom_PLA _452&gclid=Cj0KCQjwub7NBRDJARIsAP7wlT-xUzj_n9h6hz5KyXAOlQmJR7g3XNXkCUTjonOsItuFjicY2BiQN 6caAjDjEALw_wcB). I hate most earbuds with a passion, but these are awesome because they stay in and the sound quality is good. I like the men's ones vs. the women's ones though.

Amazon Prime music: I love being able to load as many Prime albums as I have space for and as long as you have Amazon Prime. This is not Amazon Unlimited and there is no additional charge.

I also love the Crocs Isabella t-strap. I actually have 3 different Isabella styles and love them all:)

Stuff I've loved this year:

Paula's Choice lip & body treatment balm. I have so many pots in different places. The kids use them too and it works better on their lips than anything else (even they admit it).

This body scrubber: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M8LY57P/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
There are lots of similar ones, but it exfoliates by rubbing off dead skin instead of brushing it off and it doesn't get nasty in the shower

Buffs headwear. A friend introduced me to it and I love them. I have the merino wool ones (they are very thin and light)

Rothy's shoes. A dangerous addition. My vote is for the pointy toe ones. I get random compliments from strangers.

S'well bottles. I know I'm late to the game but they are worth the hype.

Fusion Mineral Paint. I've only refinished one bookshelf so far, but it makes me want to repaint all.the.things. We just bought a lovely old Drexel dresser for the bedroom and I'm itching to paint it when it's cooler.

Does anyone have the Lululemon Vinyasa scarf??? It looks so cool and I'm so tempted.

Thank you I just bought the bug sucker!!! I used to have something similar for spiders but it got discontinued. I wish it had a longer handle but this will be much appreciated! Oh yeh I might also let DC use it as a toy ;)

I wear them for crossfit and love them -- I can do burpies or whatever and they don't fall out. Only fall out issue I've had is when I take a sweatshirt off overhead. I've had mine for 6 months and no losses yet. They are $$. I wear mine every day and use them for calls etc.

They are expensive but SO worth it. I can never find my headphones, the cord is annoying, they get dirty and gross at the bottom of my purse, they don't work well. These AirPods are seamless. They have their own case that keeps them clean and charges the headphones, they fit perfectly in the ear and *don't fall out*, they turn on automatically when they sense your phone... they are just magical. I actually feel giddy everytime I use them.

I didn't know these even existed but my birthday is coming up and these would be so much better than the huge flower arrangement DH usually sends.

Thought of something else since I got my iPhone 7 and don't have wireless headphones, my headphone/charging adapter (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XXQZHJ3/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1) so I can charge and listen to music at the same time at my desk (and since my dog chewed up the original adapter that came with the phone I use it just for listening as well). There is a little feedback sometimes and every so often I get the "not an apple supported product" but for the most part (when I get that message I just wipe it off and put it back in and it works again) it works great and was only $15 vs. the $40 official Apple Belkin adaptor (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01LXFKSNA/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1504889598&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=belkin+apple+adapter+iphone+7&dpPl=1&dpID=31imtEGixqL&ref=plSrch) (and reviews of that were mixed as well). I haven't felt the need to buy the Apple adapter again although this is a little bulky.

I had to go put mine on to answer that, lol.

So I have short arms but when my arms are down they go all the way to my wrists. When my arms are up I have a few inches of my arms that are exposed. Does that make sense? I'm 5'7 and ordered the Medium.

I thought of another weird one, parenting related. The door monkey:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004ECJWK4/ref=sxts_bia_sr_1_a_it?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=3182441022&pd_rd_wg=x36zx&pf_rd_r=B82Q32ACVBR7QFZK23BS&pf_rd_s=desktop-sx-top-slot&pf_rd_t=301&pd_rd_i=B004ECJWK4&pd_rd_w=WSmQp&pf_rd_i=door+monkey&pd_rd_r=BXWR5DQE9N20XEH4WNG0&ie=UTF8&qid=1506439636&sr=1

We have one of these on my master bedroom door. It is awesome because I put it up high and can effortlessly go in and out of my room but the kids can't get in. It can be set so that my big kids can get in but not my littles. It is cheap and prevents finger pinching. I love it for controlling traffic in my house and I even take it on vacation!

I learned about this from the BBB when my DGD2 was little and into everything. I discovered that my old doorframes would not work with portable gates but the door monkey was great especially for bathroom doors and DGD1 could manage it without help. Very handy!

mackmama and hillview - I'm usually totally resistant to getting new tech gifts but based on your love for them, I agreed to let DH get me a pair of AirPods and I love them. I'm still not comfortable wearing them into the bathroom, etc though (still terrified they'll fall out) but I have vacuumed the house with them in, up and downstairs, and they did not fall out and did not lose connection with my phone (large house, 3600 sq ft, my office where I left my phone is in the far corner). I actually think the lack of cords makes them less likely to fall out because there's no cord to catch on anything and pull them out and I do think the weight of the cord makes them feel like they fall out easily. But like I said, still skeptical of that part because they fit loosely in my ear (just like the corded version). I've been on several phone calls and have asked my colleagues how I sound and they couldn't tell any difference. The only thing I wish is that I could set the double-tap to function as a mute button but alas that's not an options (seems like Apple could make a software change to allow this...so maybe it will happen soon enough!).

So thanks!!!

I was (and am) a huge fan of this product but we just ordered another one from amazon and it didn’t work at all. I’m not sure what was going on. I’m bummed because the original ones were great—so useful! I might try ordering again (we returned the most recent, non functional one) and I’ll keep you posted if it’s better.
