My 15 year old cookie sheets have seen way better days. I just jumped on Bed, Bath's website and am totally overwhelmed with the choices. I see gold ones, bumpy ones (?), no stick ones, silver ones and aluminum ones. I don't think there were 15 different kinds of cookie sheets when I registered years ago. Incidentally, I rarely bake cookies but use cookie sheets for one pan meals like chicken fajitas and roast veggies. I also make pizza breads/stromboli. Are the non stick ones teflon like? I want to avoid that. Can anyone educate me? Any ideas welcome!

You want a nice, thick pan, imo. No gimmicky features needed. Mine are Calphalon. They aren't non-stick. I use Silpat sheets on them for pretty much all baking.

I love my gold touch jelly roll pan from Williams Sonoma (https://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/usa-pan-goldtouch-nonstick-jelly-roll-pan/?pkey=cbakeware-williams-sonoma%7Cbakeware-usa-goldtouch&isx=0.0.2735)! I would love some more of these, maybe the 1/4 sheet size. I like the ones with the full edges vs. the flat edge. They make baking soo easy and I don't have to go and search for my sil pat (which is nice btw, but always gets buried in my pots and pan drawer) I also have three or four pans I got as wedding gifts in 2003 and those are Roshco, and Pyrex; nothing fancy but they still work. I also have a few half sheet pans from a restaurant supply store, but I they are big, but those are really good quality as well. I just love that nothing sticks to the gold touch pans. I also have an AirBake cookie sheet, which barely gets used as I find the cookies get too hard, but I bake with a gas oven so that could be an issue as well.

For non cookie baking I love my Pampered Chef stoneware. I have the large bar pan, small bar pan, pizza stone, and small ridge baker. I have had all but the small baker for 10+ years and they still work well.

My favorite baking sheet is my Circulon one. It's nonstick, but I don't think it has a coating, it just has a design on the bottom that seems to prevent sticking. My only gripe is that it buckles in a hot oven (but i've never had a baking sheet that didn't do that).

I love using professional style aluminum half size baking sheets. I feel like they cook very evenly. I use airbake style cookie sheets with 3 raised sides. Works very well for my needs. I never liked my silpat liners. I never felt like I could get them clean, they still felt greasy after washing.

I use baking sheets from restaurant supply stores. They are cheap and last forever. I have some fancy sheets DH bought at a local boutique kitchen store but I always reach for the cheap sheets. Mine are similar to these.

If you want plain half-sheet non-stick ones, I get them by the 3 pack from costco. I use silpat (you can also get a version of those from costco) on them, or just plain, depending on what I'm making. If you do want non-stick USA pan is AMAZING and very durable - I believe they are the manufacturers of the W-S goldtouch pans as well. I have a bunch of their sheet & muffin pans, including an extra giant pan that's bigger than half-sheet size but still fits in my standard range oven. We refer to them as the magic pans. I bake a lot so I have tried a ton of pans over the years.

Another vote for USA pans, I love mine for baking pumpkin rolls.

Yes. Go to a restaurant supply store. They will have basic baking sheets that work very well, last forever and are way less expensive than retail.

I've been using the pampered chef stones instead of cookie sheets for 20 years. Nothing sticks to them anymore

I totally agree and this is what we have.

Much better quality and for far cheaper than other big box stores.

I was going to recommend Nordic Ware aluminum sheet pans, and that is what this site recommends as well. Best bang for your buck! I've bought them at Walmart and TJMaxx in the past.

I think Costco has a set of these for 24.99. Thanks.

And thanks to everyone! So many good options.
