HELP: My nose will not stop running!!! I used to take Zyrtec or Claritin but they're either 12 or 24 hrs so I'm the past when it's not working I have to wait the full 12/24 hrs before another dose and I'm miserable

Now I tried Chlor-Trimeton every 4 hrs and while it makes me drowsy, it's been working. But lately it's not working anymore

My nose is non stop running...my nose is raw, I'm starting to get a headache...my throats feels "weird" like maybe it's a cold but then the doc said it's possibly post nasal drip causing irritation. Is it an allergy? Cold?? I don't know. There's no sneezing though.

What do I take???

I already also done saline rinse and started doing Flonase.

Advice please!!!!! Dying here :(

Oh, and both kids have a fever so yeah....not feeling great

99% of the time when I think my allergies are especially bad, it turns out I'm getting a cold. Take some Sudafed if you have some. (Check for interactions first, of course.) Your symptoms sound like a cold to me.

Well, this won't help you today, but google the benefits of fermented honey with garlic. https://www.gardeningchannel.com/honey-infused-garlic/
http://www.killerpickles.com/honeyed-garlic/ there are a ton of links.
you can add tumeric and or ginger, citrus, cloves.

Also look up Fire Cider. it's a similiar healthy immune boosting thing.

A friend make these concoctions every year and no one in her family ever gets sick. I am making both this year.

ETA: oh yeah, forgot to say, start slamming the zinc and elderberry syrup! and try to get as much rest as you can. Sleep and hydrate.

There's a bad virus going around that mimics a allergies. We have bad allergies here and I wasn't sure if it was increased allergies all of a sudden or a cold. I posted on Facebook and everyone said it was a cold and they'd had it or knew someone who did. Then I saw an article on our news station website saying the same thing.
