Need advice on a wedding gift for a nanny who has worked for the family for a long time - 15 years? Now, the kids are in middle school and high school so she drives the kids around, with occassional (once yearly?) overnight. What do you think is the appropriate amount for a wedding gift?

It depends on your overall budget for these things but I'd equate her gift with what I'd spend on a close family member.

Yes, in my case/social circles, that would be $100-200.

Agree with PPs.

After 15 years I would equate to a close family member gift. Perhaps what you would give a sibling or close cousin.

I agree with everyone else. I'd spend at least $100.

For a 15 year nanny, who is with the family, the wedding gift would be almost like a bonus $500-$1,000. A normal nanny who is with a family a year or more is usually a regular gift of $100 range.
