Amazon Prime - reload gift card balance get $10 off $100

Saw this promotion on amazon today, says for Prime members if you reload your gift card balance for at least $100, you get free $10. seems like a good deal.

however, when i tried it, for some reason it doesn't work for me..it appears to only gives me $5 (5%). even if i put in an amount over $100. i still can't figure out why...i have Prime and i've never ever reloaded a gift card balance. however, hope this works for some folks out there!!

it was in multiple banners on amazon..i also went to put something in my cart and it had that option pop up in a banner as one of the promotion. a quick Google search showed that apparently they had similar promotion back in July for "Prime" Day.

Very interesting... that’s what I expected, but I’m definitely not seeing it anywhere. But Amazon got me anyway—while I was browsing, I got sucked in by one of the lightening deals [emoji6]
