Quick help-Alexa / Echo Dot

Just got a Dot for my daughter‘s birthday. We have no other echo products in our home. Do we sign up creating a new amazon account for her? Or do we put her on our account? We will be probably be adding echos for other family members in the future if that matters.
Please help! Thx :)

You’ll want it on your main account. Some Prime features (like lots of music) are available only for the main person.

we have 3, including DD’s, all on my main account. She loves it for streaming music. I used it this morning to “drop in” on the kitchen to talk to DD while I was taking younger DD to school. I often forget about the “drop in” feature. It’s nice when I am out of the house and no one will answer the home phone.

I will need to look into this feature! Can you do this right from the app on your phone? We just have one (for DD) but I'm wishing I'd grabbed another one or 2 while they were on sale!
