We've been very happy with our Schlage locks. They are very well reviewed. We don't have wireless connectivity, but I can see how that could be useful for a rental.

Thank you...Schlage is what I'm leaning towards. Kaba sounds great but it's pricey!!

Just curious. For a vacation rental, do you change the code every renter or do past renters still know the code to get in? When we've rented vacation homes, they used a coded lock box with a physical key inside. So while we were in the house, even if a previous renter came back there wasn't a key in the box because we had it.

Essence, I'm so glad you chimed in about the Schlage Connect. Is it possible to set limitations on dates and times for a code to work (for example Saturday 4pm-Saturday 10am)? Is the app difficult to navigate?
