any experience with home depot decking?

We are getting a small-ish deck replaced. We don't use it often other than to grill. The price of Trex is about 2x Home Depot decking. Any experience? Thanks!

We have the veranda decking from Home Depot. We haven’t had any problems with it ( only had it about a year though) My dad installed with a helper & said it was pretty easy to install

Is the Home Depot decking like trex? Whatever you do, don’t go with real wood.

We installed home depot decking last summer. Our contractor had used it before with great success. It looks beautiful. We brought home samples from several different brands and couldn't see any significant difference between the Trex and HD brand that would warrant us spending significantly more money. What we noticed most across brands and price ranges is that the "wood" look of both the imprint and the color gradations (and color choices) improved as cost went up, but there didn't seem to be much difference in the actual material used for the core or the thickness of the plastic veneer.
