I know I am overthinking this.
DD was invited to a friend’s birthday party. I ask the mom for gift ideas and she said he could really use a new soccer ball. I don’t think he plays on a team. But he’s got a lot of neighborhood friends he plays with outside. What size soccer ball should I get him?

Can you check the U8 size of soccer ball on the AYSO website? Though for official play they probably already have a ball...

I’m pretty sure he’s not on a team. He just needs a new one to play with friends in the neighborhood.

I think you’d be safe with a size 4. It’s possible U8s play with a size 3, but a 4 will be the right size soon and for many years to come.

Yes, size 4 will be good for that age. :)

Size 4 for that age HOWEVER think about getting a Size 1 skill ball!! That is my daughter’s fave gift for her soccer friends & teammates! She still likes gifting the extreme dot to dot books too. That’s fun for that age!
