I've usually used neutrogena sheer spf 30 because it's the only one I can stand. I hate the chemicals but hate the feel of sticky sunscreens worse.

Is there something better than this chemical wise that you truly cannot feel or smell one your body?

No. Hahahahaha. I don't think it exists.

I hate suncreen too - the smell (even the 100% zinc-based ones), the feel on the skin, yuck. I like EltaMD UV Clear - it feels the most like "plain lotion" to me and the smell seems to dissipate quickly. It's a mineral-and-chemical based sunscreen though the chemical it uses is one of the milder ones.

The mineral-based sunscreens...I hate how they settle into all the crevices of my skin and it feels like I can't wash it off - it's also super drying.

I've tried so many, but neutrogena sheer is the only one I can stand. And not even the off brand that tries to mimic it; it has to be the real deal.

I like the Lubriderm with SPF, but I think it's only 15, so not good for any length of time in the full sun. It's intended more as an everyday sunscreen for incidental exposure. But it feels pretty similar to regular Lubriderm lotion.

The one that I felt the least was Ocean Potion spf 50. But it's hard if not impossible to find now. Neutrogena is the only one left I can put up with on my face. I can use other ones on my body but not my face.

I started using EltaMD Sport this spring, and have been pleased with it. I don't feel it on my skin after I've put it on, and it doesn't leave a whitish tint. I used to use the Neutrogena, but I could still feel it.

A friend recommended Biore Watery Essence, but I haven’t ordered yet. I’m going to try EvanHealy’s stick because it’s on sale for $10 and I like other products in her line.

I just ordered this a few days ago on Amazon so I know they carry it. At least if you're talking about the face zinc formula.

I've never found a great body sunscreen, but for my face, I love Ocean Potion's Dab On Spot Stick. It smells when you first apply it but the smell dissapates immediately and you can't feel it at all.

I can't feel or smell this one at all:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Equate-Ultra-Protection-Clear-Zinc-Sunscreen-SPF-50-1-Oz/140071778?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&adid=22222222227139648618&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=249947754671&wl4=pla-434957691274&wl5=9028887&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=online&wl12=140071778&wl13=&veh=sem

We generally avoid walmart. I make a special trip for this stuff. I love the way it rubs in, that it doesn't smell, that it's SPF 50, that it is zinc based (though don't love the additional octinoxate and oxybenzone or the required trip to wal-mart) and love the $4 price tag. I have tried desperately to find a replacement and keep coming back to this stuff. It doesn't make me break out, doesn't feel greasy, doesn't smell like gasoline like the neutrogena I just bought for 5x the price....

Where do you buy the Elta MD? I got a sample from my plastic surgeon after having a precancerous spot removed from under my eye and I liked it a lot but had a bunch of La Roche Posay left to use. I'm almost done with that (and I think it's making my skin break out/greasy now) so I want to try the UV clear again. Do I have to go to a doc to buy or are there reputable places online? I've hesitated with Amaon because it seems a high percentage of fake products there. Costco no longer carries and isn't authorized either.

Where are you supposed to find this one, just ebay? And which formula? It seems there's a cream, gel, and mousse. Looks intriguing !

I also really need a body sunscreen. I'm good about my face sunscreen but need to get better about daily protection for my body. I hate the feeling though! I'm aso VERY scent sensitive. There was an awesome mousse formula by Loreal that I loved in feel but it REEKED of old lady perfume and gave me instant headaches. :(

Like another poster, I have tried and like Lubriderm with SPF, but some of these lotions look great so I will try them, too.

I use MD solarsciences on my face and back of hands, every day year round. on my body I use MD solarsciences pure, because that is what I put on my kids. I find it the easiest spread of the zinc options and odor free

I just bought this at my local Aveda salon, as all the Coola stuff was 40% off. I tried it on my hand - it felt like water and soaked in quickly - not sticky at all. So I think it will be great, but I honestly haven't tried it on my face.

I hate feeling anything on my skin. I don't wear foundation and dislike most sunscreens. I've been using the Innisfree SPF 50 and really like it. It's very light-feeling and absorbs fairly quickly. I don't notice it after I apply it.

Yep, I really only use it on my face. Super easy to rub in. I have a few really bad sunspots from years of my mom believing in a first of summer "good, healthy burn." The dermatologist recommended this stuff and I love it. It works better than anything else I have tried, no odor, doesn't feel like anything. I keep going back to it.

I buy Elta MD (I love the tinted) at lovelyskin.com. They often have 20% coupons.

I also really like Beauty Counter's tinted sunscreen. Both are high in zinc, which I've read is crucial for anti aging protection. It's expensive, but covers nicely enough that I use it as a sub for foundation most days.

Is the lovelyskin stuff guaranteed genuine? Seems lots of amazon Elta MD is fake.

I'm an Irish girl living in So Cal so I feel like I have tried them ALL. The only one i can stand because on me it absorbs and then i cannot feel it on my skin is Banana Boat sport performance lotion spf 50 (in the orange bottle). It isn't sticky at all. I have no idea how it scores on that web site but i don't care.

Bumping this because I stumbled across a healthier sunscreen that is super light and I LOVE! Not greasy at all. It isn’t as natural as I prefer but it is the less bad chemical sunscreens. Has a slight tack tonit when applied but dries down nicely and feels like lotion. It’s been uncharacteristically rainy here this week so no real test in the sun yet but I like the feel.

I want to seek out the spray version to try as well. I’ve tried the regular (yellow can) and don’t love it but do use it.
