this kid is very involved with his cub scouts, so I'm thinking fun and/or useful gift he can have to use for his scouting? What would it be?

What activities does the pack have coming up? Any campouts? It might be hard unless you know what activities the troop is doing.

They'll be doing big camp out this fall which is an annual thing. I guess I could look for something like binoculars, travel lamp?
