Hello everyone,
Awhile back I switched to unscented dryer sheets but I'm wondering if they still have the bad chemicals in them. Thinking of using dryer balls instead. Does anyone use them? Are wool the best option? Any brand recommendations? I have a sensitive sense of smell so definitely don't want anything that might have even a faint bad smell to it. TIA

I've used them for years and they don't have any scent. Every once in awhile I put a couple drops of essentially oil on them if I want my laundry to smell a certain way but even that wears off after a load and it's back to nothing. My first set came from Etsy, then a second years later from Amazon. They're pretty inexpensive so just try them and see what you think.

They now have them at Trader Joe’s!! I don’t recall the price, but they’re there!

There’s a set of four balls at Trader Joe’s for (I think) $5.99. It’s a steal!

We have these same ones and they are great. We've had them for 4 years and they're still intact. They don't do jack squat for static (stopping the dryer when the clothes still have a hint of dampness works best for static) but they fluff everything up well. We keep 6 in the dryer at all times and haven't used fabric softener in years.

I will say that DH hates them because he feels like he always has to dig them out of the laundry and put them back into the dryer.

I didn't find them helpful. And DH is allergic to wool--so that didn't help either!
