Santa is still going strong here. DS2 wants a giant Ewok for Christmas, along the lines of the giant Costco panda that already lives on his bed. He's deep into Star Wars this year, his teacher's room is decked out in Star Wars year round.

Problem - giant plush Ewoks don't exist. BBB hive - what on earth is a substitute for a giant plush Ewok?

Not the same as a giant plush, but what about an Ewok pillow?

Get a giant stuffed bear, make him a little Ewok hood outfit and a spear.

If you're feeling extra crafty, you (or a tailor) can sew a contrasting fur on his tummy and face.

ETA: Alternatively, if you are comfortable making a fuzzy Ewok face (just cut some eyes and mouth from felt and sew onto a piece of fur) - then you could just stuff a kids' Ewok costume.

This might be a little more than you're looking for!

Etsy is usually a good resource for all the things my kids ask for but don't seem to exist at regular stores. I'm amazed by how many fun gifts I've found there.

I assume this one isn’t big enough?

Can you go with this one and explain beforehand that there isn't room in your house for one the size of the Costco bear? We've always told the kids that parents have veto power and can let Santa know that certain gifts aren't allowed. You can even go visit Santa as a family and "remind" him.

Or take it one step further and say "NO, we have enough giant stuffed toys"! Mom says "no", but Santa brings it anyway! We have done that and I play up the "but I said NO..." DC love it. The 20" one from Disney is adorable! How big is he thinking?

This one is amazing. He'd love it. I'm sure it's worth every penny, but I can't justify it. Amazing though - what a find!

That one isn't nearly as big as he's hoping for, but is likely the one that he's going to get. As much as I like a good craft, I don't feel like I can pull off the bear face to Ewok face conversion. Plus, how big are actual Ewoks? I guess I should know this.

I saw an ewok Halloween costume for dogs at Target. You could put that on a large teddy bear? But I think the Disney store one is super cute.
