What are good options to mount my phone in my car so that I can see the GPS while driving? I currently have an Iphone SE.

I love my air vent magnetic mount and use Google Maps a lot despite having an in car navigation system. My phone has a metal disk inside the case and it just snaps right to it. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181103/4c579da3f6d2e9d8b09adce6f3dedb76.jpg

Name or link? I don’t think I want a magnetic one. My concern with using the air vent is that in the winter I like to blast hot air on myself while driving.....guess I would have to close one of them to use the phone there?

I purchased an air vent mounted holder. So far so good. You can still feel the air but you might have to redirect other vents if you want full blast. https://www.amazon.com/Beam-Electronics-Smartphone-Car-Mount/dp/B073R68TSH/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1541304984&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=air+vent+phone+holder&dpPl=1&dpID=41Y5xDmEo5L&ref=plSrch

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI worry too that if I forget to close the vent, what the long term effects on my phone of blasting hot (or cold) air on it (especially for the battery).

Someone gave me this one and since then I’ve bought more for us and others! Highly recommend it! It plugs into the CD player and I believe you can still listen to CDs at the same time, not that we ever do.

I would get a few and try them out. I like the magnetic one (like the one below) and I have had my phone forever so I don't think the vent air is a problem. The CD one would put my phone too low. I tried one of those types that mount onto the window or the dash, and they bounce too much for me.

I have one that goes in my CD player. I have to remove it on occasion when I use a CD but it’s rare we use them. I didn’t want to block the vents

I have this one and really like it. Doesn't block the vent!

Forgot to add that I have an Otterbox Defender on my phone, so the holder needs to be able to work with that. My CD player also has a 6 disc changer and we do use it sometimes when traveling. With the CD slot holders, will the disc changer still work? Thanks for the links, checking them all out!
