If you bought one, do you like it? Do your kids share it well or did you shell out extra $$$ for them to each have their own? Considering it for my crew who still love their DSs and don't have another game system. Sad Nintendo announced it will discontinue the DS. :(

DC loooooves our switch. I’d imagine needing one for each kid.

We have a Switch. It mostly gets played on the TV. One child (7 year old DS) likes it more than the other child (10 year old DD) so I guess that's why we don't need two? If they both want to play, they can use the TV.

We have one switch (which we all love) and it is shared by all three boys. They either play together on the tv or take turns using it as a handheld.

Same. For us it’s more of a replacement for the Wii than the DS. We don’t need 2.

Grandma's getting ONE for our girls this year. :) Our nieces have one, and when the four girls were together they all took turns using the TV. I get the feeling the handheld is more of a bonus than a necessity.

My three share one, but we have other gaming systems too. They all play Fortnite against each other in playground mode.

DS1 is asking for it this Xmas, so it'll more likely be the boys combined gift, so it'll be just one. DS1 already have Xbox 360 as a hand me down, and I think that is enough for now until they're older and we can upgrade to newer version of Xbox or PS4.

We have one, but DS2 uses it himself most of the time. Sometimes he plays it together with DS1. DS2 uses it when we travel.

DC uses it as a handheld almost exclusively.

DS (only child) has one. He uses the screen. His friend has extra controllers for his so they can play together using the TV.

Only my 7 year old really plays with it, but he loves it. He uses it as a handheld all the time. Takes it with him to his brother's hockey games/practices.

The X box is more popular with my 11 year old (and the 7 year old).

We had DS's, but I think the switch is better. They never touch the DS's anymore.

We have 1 switch for 3 dc. They share it just fine. We also have an XBox they share as well.

Does anyone use a switch with a projection TV?
