Karaoke machine or something else?

DS2 loves to sing. I’m thinking he might enjoy a karaoke machine or a microphone of some sort. Anyone have a favorite to recommend or a dud to avoid? TIA

I don't know which one, but we decided on a microphone (with a stand), and put the ipad on it to do karyoke. We've had it for years, and the kids still use it. Much more flexible than a karyoke machine, in my opinion. We bought it on amazon

We've had this one for several years. We bought a 2nd mic for it so both girls can sing at the same time (or if a friend is over). We have several CDs but they also just sing along to things they play on the iPad. You can hook it to your tv so the words display and my kids sometimes do that and sometimes don't. We haven't had any issues with it.
