How to clean boots?

The boys bog boots is really dirty that my usual wipe down with wet cloth isn’t cutting it. How do you wash those? Safe to toss in washing machine? Same question for a pair of plastic rain boots and men’s hiking shoes? So so dirty that it really needs a wash.

I dont have Bog boots but I wash sneakers / cleats and any thing besides leather shoes that goes on my boys feet in the washing machine. I add a couple of towels to keep them from thunking around then air dry

My family have several styles of Bogs, so I just checked the mfr's website re: cleaning. Not terribly helpful, but looks like they do NOT recommend throwing them in the washer

Do you still have an outside faucet that is open with water? If so, I would set them on the grass and shoot them with a water sprayer.

I do have outside faucet. But not really ideal right now with cold temps and wet grass? I’ll try that though tomorrow! See what happens.

I wash them in the shower with a handheld shower head.
