Help me pick a cool gift for 1 y.o. nephew

It's been a long time since I've bought baby toys and my friends all have older kids. My sister and I aren't close and she's a little (a lot) passive aggressive so my attempt at asking for gift ideas didn't get a great response. Still, I would really like to try to find a cool gift for DN for Christmas. Budget is $40-50. It's been a few months since I've been to her house, but last time I was over I didn't see any Little People / Duplo sets so that's one idea. Since y'all helped me discover Magna Tiles and Playmobil and so much more I know I'm asking the right group! TIA
