Homewood Suites Pillows or another high quality down pillow?

DH LOVES Homewood Suites down Pillows when he stays at that hotel chain. I've thought of getting him a pillow for Xmas. But the price is $89 + $14 shipping. I'm not opposed to the price of the pillow, but I wonder if I can get just as nice of a pillow, or nicer at Macys (online though since no Macys near me). Macys has free shipping and I could return the pillow I am guessing if it wasnt comfortable (let him try it out with the plastic still on it).

So any recommendations? DH is a side and back sleeper. He seems to like less fluffy pillows. I'd even get one for me. Should I just buy the Homewood Suites one? What about Costco? Any great down pillows there?

Just get the one that is a known quantity! I've spent eons trying to find the right pillow. If he loves that one, get that one.

I agree, if you already know he loves that one, just get it. I think it's a crazy price for a pillow, but then you really can't put a price on a good night's sleep, and it's worth it to me to not play the trial and error game.

I agree with all of the other posters and now I want to look at the Homewood Suites pillow to see if it would work for me! lol

I usually bring my own pillow (Serenity by Tempurpedic that I bought from Costco), but if your dh likes the pillow then go ahead and get it. I either like the pillows from Homewood or Double Tree, I cant remember, but they are nice for hotel pillows.

I agree. I would just buy the pillow he really likes.

I’m near obsessed with some of the blankets at Marriotts. But they are over $200 so I will continue to do without.

Like a pinched nerve in my neck. I feel like its because of my pillow. I am a stomach/side sleeper and I often turn my head to the left when sleeping and now my right side of my neck/shoulder hurts.

I was always a lofty pillow lover until sometime after Dd2 was born and then I started needing something heavy and something not lofty so I tried a gel/foam pillow from Sleep Innovations (it is now sold on Amazon) and I used that until about a year or two ago when I started having neck issues again and so then I tried the Serenity by Tempurpedic that I got at Costco and it is back to a restful night sleep for me.

I think this is the current one my sister uses and likes. She has had it for a few years.
