I bought this model a couple months ago primarily to track swim workouts, but I've found I love it all the time. It's obviously more than just a fitness tracker, but comparing the cost to FitBits, etc., it's really not that much more expensive.

I do use an iPhone and we're a mostly Apple product household, so I don't know how great it would be if pairing with a non-Apple phone.

Thanks! That's really odd, I looked at the Alta HR deal earlier this morning and put it in my cart, then when I checked later, it was no longer available, only from third party sellers. But now it looks like it is back.

I was hoping for a deal on the Inspire HR, but it looks like only the regular Inspire is on sale right now :( Maybe I will pick up the Alta HR to try out, and if I decide I still want the Inspire, I can pass it to DD1.

It's a device that lets you stream content if you don't have a smart TV. This one is Amazon's version. There's also Apple TV, Chromecast and a few others. We have cable and haven't really had a need to stream anything. But a friend has given us their Netflix password in case we ever want to watch. Plus, ESPN has recently launched a streaming service that I'm somewhat interested in. The Fire Sticks are usually $39.99, so it seems like a good deal.

It might be worthwhile to choose the "Prime Day" filter from the drop-down menu next to the search bar and search for items you use and need anyway. We just upgraded to the electric one. It is the middle of the line. I really wanted the one with glass bottles but it was sold out for a long time and the glass bottles are smaller. We had the manual one for over 5 years and it is fine too. However, I would check prices on CamelCamelCamel. When I looked yesterday thinking of getting one for a gift I felt the prices were still higher than what I paid from the Sodasteam website back in March.

I actually bought more at Target. I found a better deal on the Sodastream there by price matching Bed Bath and Beyond and using the 5% target card discount, buying items separately instead of as a package, and ordering the bottles from amazon. And we were enjoying carbonated water now instead of having to wait 2 days for delivery. I did buy DD some underwear, bought a clear purse for sporting events, and some razor blades.

Unfortunately, I think the app is the only way to be notified. I got a notification last night at almost 9PM. DH didn't get notified at all (his purchase was larger than mine). He chatted with Amazon online today and they seemed clueless to the promotion, so his claim got forwarded on to someone else and they said he would hear back from somebody tomorrow. Fingers crossed they honor the promotion for him! Maybe try contacting them too, but be prepared to have to explain a lot, haha! Such a wonky promo, that's for sure, being app dependant.

I don’t have notifications turned on and didn’t receive any pop ups/notices/email but you can go into the app and click on the little bell shaped icon at the top right. That is the notifications icon. My coupon was there to click through.

I didn't get a notification. I chatted with customer service yesterday. He told me how to check my notifications which I already knew how. I told him I didn't get a notification. He said he would send an inquiry to Promotions. I received a email from promotions today. The email explained how to check my notifications. It also said to reply back if I don't see it. I replied back and got an email saying that the email I replied to does not accept responses. [emoji21] I guess I'll try chatting with customer service again. I spent over $500, I'd like my $60 credit.

I don’t have a bell either. I’m wondering if they didn’t count mine because my $100+ order got split into two orders once I submitted it, with 4 things coming this week and one with delayed shipping as it isn’t available to ship til next week.

Update on the app promo. I just chatted with Amazon CS and gave them my order number and they gave me a $10 credit in my account to use on anything sold by Amazon. So if you haven't gotten a notification, try the online chat!
