We are passing down DH's Air 2 for DS (8). Currently it's just in a folio style case but we want to have something more durable just in case. He's really gentle but kids are clumsy sometimes! I got a killer deal on an Otterbox defender last week and it arrived today - it weighs a TON and is almost impossible to get on and off easily. This is an issue because DS has an Osmo that he uses and it doesn't work with any cases. (He used to use my old mini with it but that is dead). Worst case we will just add a tempered glass screen protector and hope for the best with the current case but if there's something rugged but also easy to take on and off when he uses Osmo that's ideal!
