We’ll reread the Madeline books but I’m wondering if anyone has read any other great books about Paris that are suitable for kids. Thanks!

Are you looking for non-fiction books about Paris or fiction books that takes place in Paris?

https://www.amazon.com/This-Paris-Miroslav-Sasek/dp/0789310635

DS2 loved this book when he was younger. (though Henri never quite makes it to Paris ...)

I would love both fiction and nonfiction. Thank you - I will order these from my library!

The Lonely Planet kids' guides (https://www.amazon.com/City-Trails-Paris-Lonely-Planet/dp/1760342246/ref=dp_ob_title_bk) are excellent - we used the earlier version of this guide called "Not for Parents' Paris (https://www.amazon.com/Not-Parents-Paris-Everything-Wanted/dp/1742208177/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2IHLT0XCTF6WQ&keywords=not+for+parents+paris&qid=1564472697&s=books&sprefix=not+for+parents+%2Cstripbooks%2C186&sr=1-1)" which my 7 and 11 year olds used to plot out our trip! We've gotten the Not for Parents or LP guides to several places and the kids love them. I've heard good things about Mission Paris (https://www.amazon.com/Mission-Paris-Scavenger-Adventure-Travel/dp/0989226743/) but we haven't used it.

My kids also liked the historical series Charlotte in Paris (https://www.amazon.com/Charlotte-Paris-Joan-MacPhail-Knight/dp/0811837661/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2UC5INJSV5P26&keywords=charlotte+in+paris&qid=1564472836&s=books&sprefix=charlotte+in+pari%2Cstripbooks%2C179&sr=1-1)and Charlotte in Giverny (https://www.amazon.com/Charlotte-Giverny-Joan-MacPhail-Knight/dp/0811858030/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3O7W7PU43G32S&keywords=charlotte+in+giverny&qid=1564472887&s=books&sprefix=charlotte+in+g%2Cstripbooks%2C189&sr=1-1). This is Paris linked above is a good choice for younger kids.

My kids adored A Walk in Paris (https://smile.amazon.com/Walk-Paris-Salvatore-Rubbino/dp/0763669849/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=a+walk+in+paris&qid=1564494753&s=gateway&sr=8-1).
