I've recently been diagnosed with MS and have been reading about the Wahls protocol/other 'food is medicine ' lifestyles. I will be starting disease modifying drugs but they all have such undesirable side effects that a lot of people don't actually stay on drugs all that long.

Before changing a lot of my eating habits, though, I think it would be helpful to do some major food sensitivity testing and micronutrient profiling. Has anyone done these? I know a lot of people seen functional medicine doctors for this types of stuff but none around here take my insurance. Can a regular doctor/allergist/immunologist do any of this testing?
