I am so clueless with anything related to window treatments. I am redoing my almost 16 y/o DDs room. Essentially the walls are a light gray (We used Sherwin Williams Olympus white - it has a smidge of a blue undertone depending on the lighting. White berber carpet was already in the rooma and I'm not changing that right now, white bedding, a wood platform bed, a white dresser and nightstand with gold accents, a gold mirror over her dresser. There will be a really cool wooden full length mirror, and a tan colored macrame swing, with a few other accents of wicker/straw baskets to add in the natural/wood texture here and there I am essentially adding in pops of color on her bed with various colored pillows, and some abstract pictures on the wall. I will add a colored pillow to the swing.

I find if I add too much color it will start to look little girl ish, so I was thinking of white curtains but with some kind of texture or light grey design, but I dunno. I am so bad at this, lol!!! Any ideas?? Also, at some point I am going to add a colorful floor rug to tie all of the colors together, but haven't picked the exact one yet.

This is kind of what I am doing in the bedroom....not exactly but you get the idea.

I just had these hung up in our bedroom and I LOVE them! The lady at checkout was buying them one day and I literally went right back into the store to buy some for my house. Nice, subtle color and texture. https://www.target.com/p/84--34--doral-blackout-curtain-panel-cream---project-62--8482-/-/A-52959251
