Some kind of activity where they have to manipulate small items with big gloves on, such as sorting beans or something.

Can you do a bounce house? Kinda fits right in (walking in low gravity).

Using some sort of arm to build something. Drug stores (such as Rite-Aid) often have those hands you control by squeezing the other end. This would simulate the arm on the space shuttle that was used to fix satellites (and maybe to build the International Space Station?).

We did a space themed party for ds1 when he turned 6, and the party favor was astronaut ice cream and a national geographic planets book (Dollar store score!)

American Outdoor Products Astronaut Neapolitan Ice Cream Sandwich, 1.0 oz, (Pack of 10) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00005C2M2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_OWiUDb471MB8K

National Geographic Readers: Planets https://www.amazon.com/dp/1426310366/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_qXiUDbJHZM63G

I bought a bunch of boxes of trader Joe's rocket crackers for snacks.
