View Full Version : Where did you buy your DC's loft bed?

We'd like to get one for DS, and we've looked on Amazon, Target.com, Facebook Marketplace and Craig's List, and maybe a couple of other places... If you got one for your kid(s), where did you get it? Are you happy with the quality? I'd rather get wood for aesthetics, but DH is thinking metal since it's cheaper and easier to find.
Any thoughts on that?

We don't have a loft bed, but we bought DS1's bunk bed from bunkbedking.com and love it. I wanted stairs to the top bunk, so our options were limited. I just checked, and the same company makes low loft beds. I don't know how it compares to what you've been looking at, but it might be worth a look!

Wood one from Walmart. I found the exact bed on multiple sites and went for the cheapest price.
IKEA is a great choice too.

Same for us (we may have same one). Ours was on Wayfair, Overstock, Walmart and some others. I can’t remember which site we bought from but it was one that offered in room delivery then I hired a handyman to assemble. It is a full size loft bed with a desk and dresser underneath & solid wood.

We got ours at Ikea. It's great, but I'm not quite sure what we'll do to get it out of the house when we're done with it. It has a desk underneath, shelves and a mini closet.

We bought a FLEXA many years ago from a local kids furniture store, based on the Flexa love from this group.
I HATED it over time. Loved it at the time but man.....the sheets are impossible to change, creaking....and well, kids grow!
