My DS is turning 7 next week, and I have no idea what to buy him! He's asked for LEGO (because he couldn't think of anything else!), but he and his brother have literally dozens of sets, and I'd like to get him something more interesting. He loves robots, but all the ones I can find are app-controlled, and we do limited screen time at home. I'd love some suggestions for something fun, not too large, that wouldn't easily be destroyed by his toddler sibling! Budget up to $100-ish.
Thanks in advance!

At that age, my boys liked:
New scooter or Bike
Snap circuits
Nerf guns
Laser tag set
RC helicopter or RC car
Microscope set
Art supplies/good colored pencils, a big notepad and "how to draw" animals or vehicles book

There's a cute little robot called MiBro that isn't controlled with an app. My son got one a few months ago and it still gets played with.

My son is the same age and basically only wants books, games and soccer stuff.
