Looking for some inspiration for dinner at my house for group of about 8-10 12/13 year old girls. No pizza, no taco/taco bowls, no mac and cheese, no cold cuts/deli sandwiches.

Any interesting ideas?

I love breakfast for dinner. Waffle bar. Oatmeal bar?

Pasta. My DD is 13 and when she has friends over, they make pasta. Marinara sauce, pesto sauce, butter and Parmesan cheese. plus a veggie tray and a whole bunch of fruit. It’s not very exciting, but all the teenage girls like pasta.

My DD and her friends would enjoy a baked potato/ salad bar.

I know you said no pizza, but is that due to dietary restrictions? That age it's fun to make personal size pizza's. I also think that age loves pasta bars, fun shaped pasta and maybe three sauce choices? Garlic bread and voila!

What does your DD like?

Does no cold cuts include like a charcuterie board? My tween daughters love that. We do that with a bunch of apps.

What about paninis? Easy to make if you have a grill or panini maker. And just like a taco bowl everyone can to some extent choose what they want in the filling or leave out. Would go very well with some soup in this weather.
Pita or tortilla wraps would also work well.

I would do a hearty salad bar, including cold pasta, quinoa, different greens and spinach, other chopped veggies, roasted chopped veggies, chopped chicken, croutons, seeds, and a variety of dressings.

Very interesting to hear the various ideas, my DD and her friends (often do team dinners with swim or hockey team) are all about fun snacks, not overly worried about healthy. OP mentioned a lot of things NOT to include, am not sure if that is due to dietary restrictions? Most 12/13 year olds that we have known love places like Panda Express, Taco Bell, other local tex - mex places. Maybe Chinese food? I can't imagine my DD and her friends would want a salad bar, but maybe the girls at the party are vegetarian? I would include items that appeal to a wide variety of (meat, carbs, vegetables, fruit). Another fun thing is a chocolate fruit fountain (see if someone has one to borrow).

Does it need to be homemade? If not, then sushi would be fun. My DD is around that age and always wants sushi when we go out for dinner.

Agree with pasta or other Italian dishes. Otherwise, Mexican (burritos, enchiladas) or Middle Eastern/Greek (falafel, dolmas, hummus with chips or pita wedges and veggies, artichoke spinach dip, spanikopita).

I'm also wondering if it needs to be homemade. If not, all groups are always big fans of Chick-Fil-A here and you can add fun drinks, a salad, and fruit. If you want partly homemade you can get a tray of Chick-Fil-A nuggets and make drop biscuits with the girls (easy and fun) and then eat the biscuits and nuggets with honey or gravy...

Sliders and tater tots are always fun...it's easy to make sliders, you can have various accompaniments (tomato, lettuce, sauteed mushroooms, swiss cheese and other cheeses, etc) and different kinds of buns (hawaiian rolls, traditional white or wheat buns) and frozen tater tots are yummy.

I’m doing pulled pork in slow cooker. For the 13-14 year old crew, I also make a pasta alla oglio style. Pasta bar seems like it could please many different tastes. Have an alla oglio, marinara, Alfredo and pesto set up with a big Caesar salad.

You have gotten great ideas. My daughter and her friends that age enjoyed fondue parties since you can have different vegetables blanched , pears/apples, conichons, etc. so works for vegetarians but you can also put some cubes of ham or other meet if they like. One slumber party one of the other girls brought another fondue pot and they had a chocolate fondue for dessert which was a huge hit. The girls also enjoyed having crepes which we made ahead some sweet some savory ...the night of the party the savory ones we would add gruyère cheese and melt it in a pan, fry an egg if they wanted on it, and if they wanted we added cube han or sausage. For the sweet ones we put them out and they put whatever sugar, jam, Nutella, or fruit they wanted on them.

These cheeseburger sliders have been really popular with crowds of tweens at our house:
