I saw a FB post mentioning how we're all going to be living our own episode of Chopped as we try to figure out meals to make from all the random stuff in our pantries and what we can actually find in the stores! Then someone recommended the app SuperCook where you click on all the ingredients you have available in your pantry/fridge/freezer and it comes up with all the recipes you can make using only those ingredients. I just quickly imported the ingredients I could think of off the top of my head and it said I could make over 26,000 recipes! Super cool! Hopefully it will help me incorporate some of the more random ingredients I have like dates, sunflower seed butter, and frozen pineapple and actually make something edible. May be good for DS2's current baking obsession too!

Thanks! I was actually trying to figure out something like this yesterday, but I had an idea of what I want to make for supper (ended up with chili mac). I definitely will give this a try.

Thank you! Pantry organization has been one of my social distancing plans and this is so smart. I will check it out.

Thank you so much for sharing! I am horrible at improvising meals (I can only cook by following a recipe), so this is super helpful.

Can you please tell me how you made it??Here's the recipe I used. You could probably leave out the sugar completely. I only used 1 Tbsp.

Made my first random pantry dish. 3 ingredient hot dog cornbread muffins! [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] Cornbread mix + diced hot dogs + 1 cup of shredded cheese! Pretty good dipped in the Trader Joe's honey pale ale mustard that I had! I ended up with 20 small muffinshttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200317/d2f2fb76d7587ce1a2aab62ed1ba40d5.jpg

Check out Epicurious App. It’s good for recipes and if you sign up for their email they have a summary of good articles that goods out. I hate those kind of emails, but I find actual useful stuff.

Latia, that app is Awesome!! I now have over 5000 sugar heavy carb loading treats that I can apparently bake from stuff already in my pantry :) Doesn’t give me a keto or low carb option though
