Elliptical recommendations

So we are considering getting a home elliptical since gyms are closed around here and Dh is an exercise fanatic but can no longer run as he has rheumatoid arthritis. Looking at lifecycle, matrix or maybe precor. Likely looking at basic models as we probably don’t need the bells and whistles model. I have a connection with an owner of a place that sells lifecycle and matrix but before I reach out to him I want to make sure we are serious about either of those. What functions should we think about? Rear or other train? Planning on going out this am to check them out before places close.
