I have a ton of cookbooks but I never pull them out. I think some came from recommendations here. I’m clearing space and thought I would check here before I ditch them. If you have any favorites from these cookbooks, please share which recipes they are. Thank you!

From Moosewood: carrot soup
From Pioneer Woman Cooks:
Cinnamon rolls
Mac and cheese
Pinto beans- they are delicious, no soaking, just dump them in with some liquid (water, stock...) and let them simmer! Less pepper (or none) this and I never add the bacon because I’m lazy. I keep bacon drippings in the fridge though and will add some (like a tablespoon)
Pizza crust- it is my go to, every day recipe
Comfort meatballs are good
Chocolate sheet cake

From Six O'Clock:
French Cassoulet (page 264), I add a couple handfuls of baby spinach and double the bread crumbs (use panko)
Mediterranean Quinoa Salad (page 81), I added some chopped up leftover chicken
Baked Pesto Penne (page 286), I used 16 oz of pasta, added a little water & tomato paste along with the tomatoes to have enough sauce
