Keep or Toss: Lamb Chops!

I had a Costco order delivered last Wednesday, and keep forgetting that I had lamb chops in that order! The pack date was 6/9, and it says "sell by 6/12". Can I still marinate and grill tomorrow (6/18)? (I hope so!)

So, these have been in the fridge? I am a no and would not eat/feed my family meat that old.

As much as I hate to say this, I'd most likely toss them if it were in our home.

Just opened, and they smell fine. Google says that lamb is less likely to go bad versus chicken/pork. I'm marinating now and taking the chance! (This is so unlike me, but this was a Costco-sized pack of lamb chops!)
