Does anyone have an Ektorp Sofa/loveseat?

Can you tell me how firm it is?

I'm looking for a cheap couch for my mother who is getting out of rehab. She needs a couch that is firm to aid in standing up (but not too firm). Would this work? Or another of their couches?

I've sat in lots of IKEA couches in their showroom. To me, Ektorp is "medium" but I could see the cushions getting soft very quickly with use. The Farlov sofa was a definite "very firm"!

Yeah I wouldn’t call the ektorp firm at all. We have a karlstad and that is firm.

I agree that the ektorp is medium. I wouldn’t describe it as firm but it also is not squishy sinky. I think it’s pretty comfortable but might not meet your needs.
