Harry and David? While I've never tried their cakes, I've also never been disappointed in anything from there. Looks like they have 2 day delivery on a bunch of options:

If none of those are what you are looking for, want to give us some hints? We have lots of local bakers that are bringing in extra cash these days on the local FB pages that will do front porch drop off for a small fee. Could be worth looking where you live or in the location of the intended recipient. Good luck!

Take a look at Goldbelly. https://www.goldbelly.com/foods/cakes

You can also usually order directly from the vendor for less.

Milk Bar ships for a flat rate of $15 to several states. They aren’t cheap.

Yes and yes. I wanted to send a pie to someone, and when I first googled I came up with Goldbelly. I then googled the name of the shop, and they shipped for cheaper.

Thank you for all the ideas!! I contacted several bakeries in the area and they will all deliver for very reasonable prices. Now just to decide which shop to go with.

Glad you found a solution that involves delivery at a reasonable price. I ordered a birthday cake for DD1 from a bakery in South Carolina (Caroline's Cakes) because we were sheltered in place in our second home 1 hour from a bakery/civilization. It was $20 just for shipping to CA (so $80 total). Delicious cake, but I would never splurge like that normally!
